We rake them up every fall, and every fall I wish I could sell them for a penny each because I think we would be rich.Barbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11033047452936238577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5990440235705634705.post-47547173035986263942008-10-02T13:50:00.000-04:002008-10-02T13:50:00.000-04:00That is cute! Not to mention all the little seedlings we'd get. But it was a really beautiful tree!

ManuelaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5990440235705634705.post-78838523994890236622008-09-30T10:39:00.000-04:002008-09-30T10:39:00.000-04:00I thought of you yesterday when I was in a local c...I thought of you yesterday when I was in a local craft boutique bz they had some of the cutest acorns adorning some decorations. I once brought some inside for decoration and the next day little WORMS had come out of them. YUCK! I never did that again even though we have thousands of acorns all around our home and garden.
LauraAmongst The Oakshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06557263218213720034noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5990440235705634705.post-54008359705452749442008-09-29T23:13:00.000-04:002008-09-29T23:13:00.000-04:00Better get yourself on over to Pottery Barn...they...Better get yourself on over to Pottery Barn...they have a bag of 54 acorns to use for filler in a vase or bowl. At a park, I picked up about 100 acorns to bring back to Florida for decoration on my fall tablescape. When we got home, I put them in a bowl on the kitchen counter. The next day when I work up, the counter was covered with ants! They were living in the acorns!!
