I have been getting ready for my visit with
Mary and have been dealing with way too much rain. But the sun is out, my house is relatively clean and our visit with Mary, Bob and Jasmin was delightful. What positively lovely people they are. Perhaps now I can get back to my final episodes of our travelogue. Have a wonderful Fourth of July everyone.
Later,
Janet
Loved the picture. Blessings

Janet, it was such fun to meet you and Bob. Thanks so much for making us so welcome........and your baking was superb! Don't forget - please share the recipes!!
ReplyDeleteOff now to New Boston, NH for the parade etc. Cloudy but should be OK - maybe a noontime shower.
Have a great Holiday.
More later - love from us all.
Mary.
You are so lucky that you got to meet Mary and family! I love only about 4 hours from here and we have not been able to connect yet.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to Pisa..
I am visiting from Mary's Across the Pond. Your pictures of Italy bring back memories of our cruise and visit last fall. What a wonderful place to explore.
ReplyDeleteWhat a delight to meet new friends! I echo Mary's message - DO please share recipes!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Fourth of July.
I'm very much looking forward to your Pisa post too.
enjoying your blog...came over via Mary's blog. i was in italy in february and took a million photographs.
ReplyDeleteenjoyed your capri captures. i did a side trip to capri a couple years ago ...and while i enjoyed the ride over and the views and such...expensive and over-rated.
you missed so many of the good parts of rome. if you go again in the future and need some pointers, feel free to ask me. i go about every year to italy and spend a week in rome.
pompeii is interesting...the best way to do it is to take a private bus tour company, and spend the day. it is no hastle and lunch is included.
have a wonderful day
