EMILY

OK, so I watched a couple of episodes of Design Star this season, maybe the last 3 and was delighted when Emily won.  She is quirky and enthusiastic and a stylist by profession.  Last night I watched her special "Secrets from a Stylist" and I liked it.  I really, really liked it.  Did any of you watch...what did you think?  I honestly think it was the first thing on HGTV that has intrigued me in years, now it remains to be seen if it will ever emerge as a weekly show.

    I watched all of Design Star and was thrilled when Emily won. I did watch the show last night and thought it was great!

    It was fun watching her add layers, subtract and design a home specifically for her client/friend. I have a feeling this will become a series and won't that be great!

    I agree! Emily is the first Design Star winner that connects with REAL LIFE.
    I was so impressed with the way she came about her design with the home of her friend, the give and take and then finale.

    I totally missed it! We lost interest in the Design Star competition when it became more about the personal drama than the design, so stopped watching.

    With these glowing reviews, I will definitely try to catch a repeat of Emily's show! It will be good to have a new, must-see HGTV program.
