Time for a United Way Bake Sale at Bob's office. Even though it was in the mid 70s today I am baking fall goodies: Banana Bread and Trader Joe's Apple Bread. The sale will take place at morning break and I think if I slice the bread they can sell it by the slice and make some serious money. Sure smells good as it wafts upstairs to my "office". Right now the Apple bread is winning the aroma contest.
I am so jealous of your Traders, what I wouldn't give.

stupid blogger!
Oooo! I would buy some of that :)
ReplyDeleteSound good! Thanks for checking out my rustic red piece. The color is Behr brick red with a glaze using Behr espresso beans paint.
ReplyDeleteOh Janet banana bread is one of my all time favorite foods. Yum! Once I had it with some cream cheese icing and I tought I would eat the entire loaf. Lol! Yours looks delish.

Janet, Tried to e-mail you back, but you are a "no-reply blogger" and I couldn't reply back to you. Did you know that your settings are set up that way?
ReplyDeleteAnyway, re: the barn sale- it was a fun trip. Some booths were very over-priced, though. Guess I love me a good old yard/thrift sale the best! Didn't get to the CL show this year. It was expensive last year and there was even a price increase this year. We did have a good lunch though, huh? A lot better than all that deep fried bunch of fair food out in the show! But oh, that DID smell good! LOL Coming back to Ohio any time soon?
I've never had apple bread but it sure sounds good. I prefer pumpkin bread to banana because it has more flavor. Guess I should start baking- this time of year puts me in a cooking/baking mood!

Please email me when you ahve a minute (tuttichic@yahoo.com) & let me know what you think of the paint! Isnt' the owner so knowledgable & sweet? :) chris
