- I was bitten by the decorating bug very early and just love decorating books, magazines and historic house tours. Don't call the police, but I like nothing better than walking down a street at twilight and seeing homes lit up and being able to glance at the decor, thus the name of my blog. I am a Realtor (for 13 years) and love my job, at least most of the time. I am a wife (second time around) and the mom +/or stepmom of four grown boys.

I just toured a home with sunflowers and hollyhocks that reached 18 feet high. The homeowner bought the house two years ago. The property was just bland field. So she watered. And up they came. Tons of them. Spectacular.
