On Saturday I bought some of these for my trip. Nothing like waiting until the last minute, but I have been trying on shoes for the last week trying to find something that is cool ( I have very hot feet), lightweight and comfortable. So far these Mary Jane Trekkers from Lands End ( mine are a neutral beige...how vanilla!!) seem to fit the bill. Very comfy so far...hope I am not jinxing myself ;-)Bob Voyage,

Comfy shoes will cushion ancient cobblestones and take you far onshore...............you must be sailing the blue Med. by now and I know having a fabulous time.
So glad you and Bob are making this trip - you deserve it after all you've been through this past Winter!
