SANDWICH MA 4/30/10

Tell me...which one is your favorite?  Why?

Remember...there are NO wrong answers!  Your favorite is the one you like the best for why ever you like it!

  2. Well as my friend Anne has already chosen #5 which is so cute and cozy looking - I'll take #4 which reminds me of old big family houses in New Hampshire where Bob lived. The floors would definitely be gently creaking wide plank, and the interior doors would be panelled, with gracious handles and keyholes. The kitchen would be large with hanging copper pots (like yours!). Love the porch - must have a porch!

Sandwich, MA is definitely historic and lovely - has been years since I was there.

  5. Good lord janet! How can we even pick when they are all so lovely? looks like rte 6A to me! I pick #4 since I always go more towards Victorians. They are truly all gorgeous though~ The barn sale was great & a big success. I hope you make the Fall one on Sept.30! You wouldn't believe the work that goes into getting it all together! :) chris

  7. I like the yellow one. It looks newly painted, all fresh and clean and the hedge gives privacy.
BTW, I wish I were going to Villefranche again too. I just have too much going on this year. Wasn't that a great place?

  9. I think that first one has my vote though they are all great. I like the first one for the history, the design and also because it looks a little haunted and I love a good ghost hunt :)

  11. oh my I have lived in so many homes and each one has a different feel. When I looked through your array I immediately fell for the first one because I never lived in a victorian, but love the lace curtains, silver service, and wicker chairs on the porch that may have been there during it's birth. However, I got all tingly when i saw the simple comfort of the traditional cape cod! What a fun visit!
