BERMUDA HOUSES

Welcome to the houses of Bermuda.  The average price of a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home in Bermuda is currently $1.4 and Americans are only allowed to buy houses from other Americans, not from Bermudians.  I assume this is so Americans don't come to Bermuda and buy up huge tracts of land and build compounds.  Who knows.   I have been incredibly frustrated trying to load these pictures for you as I can't get them the size I want without making a mess of them.  This is probably because they were all taken with a zoom.  Whatever the reason they will be displayed in the only size that works.  Sit back, imagine the smell of Oleander hanging heavy in the sultry air and enjoy.  Let me know what you think!

That's it for today's journey.  Hope you enjoyed it and didn't let the sun burn you.

Later,
Janet

  3. hey, did you mean $1.4 MILLION? for 2 bed/2bath? well, then the shots we saw were not that price since they looked much bigger (for the most part) island living is a tad expensive!! i prefer new england like cindy! jkj

  4. My favorite is #4, I've always like smaller homes:)
They are gorgeous, and perhaps Hawaii should have adopted this law, it's now owned by Asians.

  6. The first one, pristinely white is lovely, but I think I like the third one - pink - the best.

  7. Hi Janet, This is long after the fact, but actually you can buy a house in Bermuda from anyone... it just has to cost more than $2.2million. I think a condo can be had for around $750,000. As a non-Bermudian, you can only own one house. Tom
