First let me say how exciting it is to see so many wonderful gals have come by to sign up for my birthday giveaway. It just makes me HAPPY.
Today I got a birthday card in the mail from my friend Betsy in Vermont. Think back to your childhood days and sing with me, with gusto please:
Do your ears hang low
Do they wobble to and fro
Can you tie them in a knot
Can you tie them in a bow
Can you throw them over your shoulder
like a continental soldier
Do your ears hang low?
Now sing LOUD and PROUD
substitute "boobs" for "ears"
Can you sing and laugh that hard at the same time?
I didn't think so. Anyone having incontinence issues thinking about all of us singing that song together? Here's to the 38 Long Club!!
Later,
Janet
Happy Birthday! I didn't enter your contest, because I have the book already. But I did love the song!! And the laugh this post gave me!

I've got the giggles :-) I remember signing that with my friends when I was young. I haven't thought about that ditty in ages! My husband thought I was crazy but I sang it out loud......

It's nice to meet you! I can so relate to what your introduction said about looking into people's houses at twilight! My husband thinks I'm nuts to do that but it's so peaceful and I'm just looking at their decorating! One year at Christmas, my daughter and I drove around at dinner-time and saw people having Christmas dinner w/their families. We decided to hold a little "home decorating" contest and choose the best one. We sent them a card of congratulations for "winning" our contest! My husband said "you didn't sign it did you?" Well, of COURSE we did! Anyway, nice to meet you and I'll stop by again.
