  1. Different things. Mostly, just wait it out. I know what is wrong with you. You cannot go out and do any housepeeping. I understand that. There was a beautiful home out the road a piece that burned around Christmas time and it is so sad and desolate looking, I can't stay away. No one seems to be doing anything with the horrible sight. Among some other beautiful homes too. So sad.

  2. I think it's the after holidays funk. we all get it & the only thing I can recommend is to get a big bag of peanut m&m's, some decorating mags & maybe a lifetime movie or a lucy episode! works for me everytime!:0 chris hope your winter funk goes away soon!

  3. I think it's natural to have those blue, why?, I don't feel like doing anything, blue days. If I get one I just go with it. I take the day off, read books and drink hot cocoa. But if I still feel that way the next day it is time for some action. I think of some project that will make me feel good when I'm done, and then I do it. No one knows I cleaned out the junk drawer but me, but that's enough. Lots of satisfaction. If I'm still in a funk, then it's time for some fun. Call a girlfriend and go out to lunch, go out shopping or have some friends in to play cards or eat dinner. Sometimes you just need to break out of that winter sameness and do something different. Good luck! Peggy from PA

  4. I was reading your previous entries about blogging. Have you tried Live Writer? It makes blogging so much easier. It's a free download and then you just add pictures easily and size them. There are lots of fonts and it's fun. If you need help you can email me bfdgirl@yahoo.com Peggy from PA

(is that a word?) cleaning is theraputic for me, but maybe a trip to the beach? i do always feel improved after time there. perspective and all. i think time with kent would be good for a cheering up. he is a card! jkj

  7. My poor Janet!

I do one of 2 things....stay home and clean the house while I'm listening to my favorite music on my iPod. That always helps.
    -or-
Put on makeup, get dressed and leave the house. I'll go get a coffee and window shop. Or drive around and look at houses in pretty neighborhoods.

    Chin up little buttercup!

  8. I think it happens a lot this time of year. I guess I just keep pluggin' along. Watching old movies is good or reading a good book. They will go away soon!
