OFF TO VERMONT

I am off to Vermont today to celebrate my parents' 68th Anniversary!!! They will be married 68 years on April 14 ( I will be in California....yippeee) so I am bringing a nice pork roast to cook and a custard pie , my Dad's favorite. The day before they were married in 1940 they had over a foot of snow. Let's not hope for a repeat of that weather!! I do hear thru the grapevine that there is still a couple of feet of snow on the ground, so hats and boots and gloves are a must. Probably a good thing since I can wear my cute red scarf which hides the "turkey neck "and receding chin!! Never know, I might run into someone I haven't seen for 35 years and a girl doesn't want to show her age, LOL.

Enjoy your weekend,
Janet

Edited to ask??? Anyone having problems today? I can't get into any "blogspot" blogs!!
Janet
